Just recently, Hurricane Ike went through the coast of Texas causing a great amount of wind damage, a lot of power outages, and flooding in quite a few areas in Texas. A lot of people evacuated before the storm; but some decided to stay through the storm. I sure hope that they are ok. I heard that the officials have rescue efforts going on to rescue people that are stranded in areas of flood waters and other areas hit by Hurricane Ike. May they be blessed in their efforts to rescue all of the people there.
