Pretenders and scammers

yes Paul you right of course but that was if she was an escort at all. in the sick world we live in now many guy prtend to be girls to talk with men to get off. So if course when the day come to meet they no show. I will not say who I think but how some escorts talk on this forum I believe they are pretenders or men getting off on it.

CJ, I'm so sorry that you had to deal with such a situation(s). It is expected to happen at times, but it is still uncomfortable and makes the business side of things that much more obvious and direct. I think that the best policy is to simply excuse yourself and leave....and stick to leaving even if the money suddenly appears since the encounter can no longer be comfortable enough to enjoy nor likely be able to provide the best service.

The fact is that some people behave like this....and it is attempted toward all kinds of businesses, particularly small businesses or the self-employed since they can seem more needy and may 'potentially' offer more wiggle room for payment. Naturally, in this case it is usually a ploy to avoid paying and/or end up paying less. And at the same time indirectly saying that an escort lacks value, which is hypocritical of course.

Having a system where it is understood that payment is paid upon first meeting in a discreet envelope (check it discreetly as well) is helpful but it doesn't stop some people from trying such tactics.

While it is not exactly the same, occasionally I will get an envelope filled with foreign money (for example U.S. $) instead of Japanese Yen. Whether it is on purpose or not, this invariably ends up being less than the proper amount when considering the exchange rate. Also sometimes people think that 100 cents equals 100 yen, which unfortunately for them is not the case. I let them know politely that payment is expected to be paid in Yen and if there is any disagreement I point out that just like I couldn't use Yen to pay for anything in America, you can't expect U.S. dollars to be acceptable payment in Japan.

I want my benefactors to enjoy themselves....I get a lot of satisfaction out of it....and so try to make the payment/business side as invisible as possible. Still, I have set a price and expect it to be met. If I did not, it would say a lot about me, my self-esteem, as well as my confidence in general. In other words, it is less about the specific amount than it is about self-image.

I guess that we will all have to accept that there is a certain segment (on both sides of the fence) that are inconsiderate in some way or another. Also, this industry is not special, these kinds of things happen in any business, though most businesses/customers have some kind of system for sorting out troubles (to some degree or another), where as escorting/hobbyists don't really have anything (unless you are in the Netherlands or Germany apparently....I'm surprised there are not more escorts on here from these areas!).
